Empowering Women Farmers Through Sustainable Agriculture
The project introduced solar-powered irrigation and climate-controlled greenhouses to enable reliable, year-round farming. Solar systems provide a steady water supply while reducing fuel costs and environmental impact, and the greenhouses protect crops from harsh weather and seasonal limits, improving both quality and consistency of production.
These technologies are managed collectively, giving all farmers — including those with very small landholdings — fair access to modern infrastructure. This shared model leads to higher yields, more stable production, better market access, and improved incomes for the wider community.
